The Old Dairy is our latest addition—a beautiful holiday cottage in Devon, designed and built by the owners on their home farm. This contemporary retreat offers open-plan living, with a modern countryside feel. Upstairs, you'll find a master suite with a vaulted ceiling and statement en suite, alongside a cosy single bedroom and a living area that opens onto a glass balcony. The ground floor offers a twin bedroom, a media room, a modern family bathroom with a large shower and WC, and a kitchen-diner with glass doors leading out to the patio. Outside, the private garden is the perfect spot to unwind, with a hot tub, seating area, and fire pit. Bookings for The Old Dairy are now open from December 2024 as we add the finishing touches to this holiday cottage in Devon.

With the Jurassic Coast just a 20-minute drive away, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to exploring the coastline. Sidmouth, with its award-winning beach and vibrant town centre, is a firm favourite. Packed with cafés, restaurants, and independent shops, it’s the perfect place to soak up the charm of the Devon coast.

Bicton Park Botanical Gardens

Bicton Park Botanical Gardens in Devon, offers over 60 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds to explore. Wander through sweeping lawns, English borders, and formal gardens. With a wide range of attractions, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The Otter Valley, Monkton, Devon


Located in Devon in the beautiful Otter Valley & Blackdown Hills, Otter Valley Field Kitchen is a small family business based on a fourth generation dairy farm. 

As well as their award winning ice cream, the field kitchen offers a range of light lunches and sweet treats using only the best locally sourced seasonal ingredients. They also hand-craft all of their pizzas to order using sourdough which is made and proven in house accompanied by the freshest toppings, all cooked in a freestanding stone based pizza oven. High Grange, Axminster, Devon


Only a 5 minute drive from our holiday cottage is the dining experience that is High Grange. An outdoor, rural fine dining destination run by husband and wife team Sara and Luke. Specialising in cooking over fire, Luke has over 20 years of experience in the industry and the couple even run a cookery school from the venue.

Only a 15 minute drive from our holiday cottage is the award winning Field Kitchen at Coldharbour Farm. Serving breakfast, lunch, light bites, afternoon tea and the highly recommended Tapas nights (Fri and Sat only). Guests can choose to dine out on the sun deck or inside in the quirky indoor ding area.

A 5 minute drive from our holiday cottage you will find the popular Grazing cow, serving a hearty local breakfast and other delicious homemade treats. On the outskirts of Honiton we also have Heron Farm, a stunning "grand designs' property with walled gardens and vineyards. As well as offering breakfast, lunch and afternoon teas, they also offer vineyard tours. The town of nearby Honiton also offers a number of coffee shops and takeaways including Indian and Italian which will deliver to The Old Dairy.

HOW TO GET THERE

BY ROAD

From the London/South East area, the best route is taking the A303. After merging with the A30, turn left at Stockland hill where the property is located under 3 miles away. For those travelling from the North, the M5 offers the most simple route to East Devon.

BY TRAIN

 There is a train every hour between 0700-2300, everyday between London Waterloo and Honiton (the nearest town), taking around 2 hours 55 minutes. Visit South Western Railway website for more details.

From the Midlands and North there are regular trains most hours of the day, visit Northern Railway to plan your route.

Please note a taxi would be required to transport you to the property which is located 3 miles from the train station.
