Lavender Blue Cottages are a family run business offering luxury holiday cottages in Devon and Dorset, perfect for couples, friends, and families searching for a relaxing countryside escape or a coastal retreat.
With handpicked holiday cottages in rural, town and village locations, guests can enjoy anything from a tranquil break in the Devon countryside to a fun-filled seaside getaway on the beautiful Dorset coast.
All of our Dorset and Devon holiday cottages are owned, managed and cleaned by our family members meaning we take great pride ensuring your stay is to your satisfaction.
Primrose Cottage was the family's first holiday home, it was fully renovated and featured on an early edition of "Homes under the hammer". Located within walking distance of Powderham Castle, which hosts events year round, it offers a great base for exploring the Devon countryside.
Pedallers Cottage soon followed, offering a fantastic seaside holiday retreat in Weymouth. This holiday cottage is just a short walk from the harbour, beach, and the town’s many restaurants and bars, making it the perfect base for families looking to explore the stunning Jurassic Coast and beyond.
The Old Dairy is our newest property, a luxury countryside escape with private hot tub, nestled on our family farm in East Devon. Featuring contemporary finishes and outstanding rural views, this holiday cottage is perfect for a relaxing break.

The Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site featuring 95 miles of unspoilt coastline. It is the only place on Earth where rocks from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods can be seen in one place, representing 185 million years of Earth's history. This means it's a great holiday location for fossil hunting!
As well as hunting for Earth's hidden treasures, the area has hundreds of miles of national trials and connecting footpaths for scenic walks.
